A small dam that controls the Mill Creek watershed has broken, causing flooding in residential areas of Cosmopolis. The flooding is impacting some homes in the area of the Cosmopolis flats and several streets are flooded with several inches of water. Mayor Vickie Raines says Rognlins Construction has been contacted to fix the damage and will begin repairs today.
